The Dark Knight Rises – Official Teaser Trailer #2

Here it is the second teaser trailer for the third and final Christopher Nolan Batman movie which will be released in the summer next year. The first 6 minutes of the film is being shown this week in BFI IMAX just before screenings of the new Mission Impossible film. I will be seeing this myself on Thursday and will write a post in this blog about it on Friday once i’ve seen it. I know this website is about the classic 1960′s series of Batman but I do respect and enjoy the darker portrayls of the character. So far, in my opinion, it looks like Nolan will complete a perfect film trilogy!

This is the leaked official “Dark Knight Rises” teaser trailer, the film is due for release 20/07/2012 and will be the final film produced by Christopher Nolan, therefore completeing his Batman trilogy. I know my website is dedicated to the “Bright Knight” era of Batman however, I do enjoy and respect the darker perspective to the Batman character.

Interview by Jean Boone with the 1966 Batman Movie cast (rare footage)

Here is a fantastic rare piece of footage filmed in 1966 prior to the release of the Batman Movie in the cinema. The Movie had its premeire in Austin, Texas.

This video features interviews with Lee Meriwether (Catwoman), Cesar Romero (Joker), Adam West (Batman) alongside William Dozier who of course was the producer and narrator.

Adam West starring in new commercial

Adam West’s latest appearance will be in a new promo advertising “The Price is Right” game application (app) for the IPOD. It was released on 25/3/10. So I assume its already had a few runs on American TV, doubt it will hit the UK screens though!

“Adam West Naked” DVD

Just a quick post to let you all know that Adam West’s new DVD entitled “Adam West Naked” which was launced/presented to batfans during the recent San Diego convention is now avalible to purchase from Adam’s website. (Which I must mention also has recently been updated so if you havn’t already check it out!)

The DVD is basically a video journal made by Adam West where he shares all his memories from his Batman days, episode by episode.

April Site Award & The Brave & The Bold

The website of the month award for April has just been issued, the winning site is “Batgirl Bat-Trap Homepage“.

If you are like me and do not watch the new Warner Bros Batman cartoon’s then you may not know that the latest series is called “The Brave & The Bold”. Now the reason why I am posting this is that an episode on it features a scene which shows clips from the 66 series animated, it is very cool! Not only that, its nice to see a mention/some kind of appreciation of the 60′s Batman series from Warner Bros. Play the short video below, I am sure you will recognise a few bat-traps ;)
